Kingsettle Campsite is run by Jenny Pepper who grew up on this former small dairy farm which can be found hidden beneath King Alfred’s tower on the edge of Somerset, just five miles from the A303.
It’s the ideal place to enjoy the tranquility of the unspoilt countryside and the opportunity to explore many local attractions such as Stourhead House and Gardens (just 4 miles away) Longleat House and Safari Park and the Leland trail which is ideal if you have mans best friend with you (well behaved dogs welcome*).
We have 15 – 20 pitches, all have use of a fire pit. You can purchase fire kits for just £7.50 each, all you need for an evenings cosy night out.
If you want to escape the campfire The Bull Inn is just half a mile away serving delicious food and drink.
* Free range children and dogs on leads are welcome, but please remember we work very hard to maintain the peaceful nature of this small country site. I’m sorry we are unable to host parties but small family gatherings welcome. For the benefit of other campers and our neighbours, please keep shouting and barking to a minimum, thank you.
